    Best thing since sliced bread

Ok, so as many have pointed out it may not be perfect for everyone, but all in all I think it is a great product. A little tricky sometimes to cut the diapers loose but once you get the hang of it, it works pretty well!

2 years old and still using it! The thing sits right beside our bed so of course there is no smell!

It's the best thing since disposable diapers! Sausage linked poopy diapers are scent free thanks to this device. It's one of my standard baby show gifts with 3 refill tubs.

I couldn't get the hang of it and barely used it w/ my first and got rid of it before my 2nd.

I used this all the time for my first child. Then with my second, we always had so much garbage going out, I just gave it up. It does a good job though. So when looking for a diaper pail, it is a good choice.

We used this for our 1st, but changed to another diaper trash system because of the cost of the insert bags. Do not recommend because of the bags.

meh. i wasn't impressed & the bags are awkward when removing. i prefer cloth diapering anyway. no plastic filling up the landfill.

I preferred just throwing out each diaper. I didn't like the smell of the diaper genie.

    Keeps the stink away.

I can't stand the Diaper Genie, the Champ is a little better, however I would just wrap the diaper in a plastic bag and put it outside in the garbage. The Genie doesn't hold many diapers and its really hard to get a larger diaper into the Genie.

GROSS! Literally, one test run with this system from a friend and I was set on cloth diapering. Containing baby's waste like it is nuclear or toxic waste is a ridiculous practice and without all the scented containers made to disgise something natural, diapers aren't that horrific if you don't try to preserve them in small contained non degradable ways.

Don't be forced into buying something for the sake of buying more things to accomidate it!!! And if you really choose the disposable diaper, just be diligent about taking out the garbage, not packaging waste until it becomes overwhelming in your home. Seriously, what's hygenic about that?

Liked the concept, but getting the new refills in place was difficult. I would not recommend this.

I didn't like that you had to buy THEIR bags to use in it... too pricey. I got a Diaper Champ for a while, liked that better, but now we're on cloth diapers, so (shrug) we don't use either one...

Make sure you get the second version, the "Diaper Genie II." It's easier to use and works more effectively. Still, there are smells. I don't think any diaper pail is going to contain baby poop smell!! That stuff's lethal.

Never used this thing. Too hard to refill, plastic rips easily.

Great concept, but I agree with some other comments - it doesn't contain the odors as well as I expected.

I've heard so many complaints about this product, but honestly, I found mine to be a good purchase. It kept the diapers contained to one trash bin in one room, and never did it stink. The refills are expensive, but seem to last forever. Overall, worth having.

As a new parent, I thought that I "needed" this product. However, after a couple of months we got bored of using it and used our regular garbage can for diapers. I just don't think it's necessary.

This is a terrible diaper disposal system. It was really hard to empty once full. The cutting element didn't work well and after a week or so using it we trashed it and went with the Neat system.

UGH! The product did not ease diaper odors in my house, refills were expensive and difficult to install. Makes disposable diapering even worse for the environment.

YUCK - sausage of poop. Diaper Champ is much better and cheaper due to no special refils needed.

Works great to keep down odor but the refills are expensive. I didn't use with my second child.

I hate changing the bags. And I don't think it contains smell that well.
