I NEVER mastered the swaddle. Wish I would have had this with our first child, but used on #2.
Agree, our son was only able to use a short time due to length.

A wonderful way to swaddle a newborn- very easy to use. My only complaint is that the velcro patches were small which made it difficult to get tight enough (our baby was small).

I REALLY preferred the Miracle Blanket in organic cotton.

This really didn't work for us...too difficult to get snug

I liked using receiving blankets better.

I loved these. Very easy to use, especially in the middle of the night when you are sleepy.

Complete waste of money. Just learn how to make a "baby burrito" before leaving the hospital and you're all set!

We used these all the time when my son was a newborn. Some of the others may work better but with these only costing about $10 each we could afford to have several for the inevitable spit up. He really only started to break out of them when he got old enough that he shouldn't be swaddled anyway.

This did NOT work for my average-sized infant. His legs kept popping out. I found it easier to just use a regular blanket for swaddling.

I never was able to get the hang of swaddling with a receiving blanket, but thanks to this product, I never had to learn. This was so helpful in those first few months when most babies loved to be swaddled. Will defiitely use this product again for our next baby.

Good when babies were young, but learnt to escape it pretty quickly.

I really liked this - we didn't start using it until my daughter was a month or two old, wish we'd started earlier!

We were also given this as a gift. While it was nice (with good instructions for how to use it) we considered ourselves to be swaddle pros and didn't need the "assistance". Plus our son outgrew it rather quickly and he was a rather small baby!

We had many of these in different materials and sizes. My baby loved to be swaddled for sleeping and it was the only way to keep him asleep for several hours at a time (otherwise his own arm movements would wake him up.)

Very difficult to get a good swaddle. My kid could escape this thing without blinking an eye. I recommend the Miracle Blanket instead.

This worked for a couple of weeks and then my baby could easily pop out.
Although this product is cheaper, the Miracle Blanket is VASTLY superior and will fit even the biggest baby for as long as you could reasonably want to swaddle.

I consider myself a decent swaddler, but my daughter is an escape artist anyway. She can't escape the super-sticky velcro on this, though!
In general, I have had great experiences with Kiddopotamus products.

I can't swaddle to save my life. This helped and kept my daughter from startling herself awake when she was a newborn.

These were fine for a limited time, until our twins quickly learned that it didn't take much effort to break out of them. Then the sound of the velcro would wake them up, which kind of defeated the purpose. I add my vote for the miracle blanket!

Our daughter loved these!

Great for both my houdini children who just couldn't stay swaddled in blankets. My first didn't like it though until he was 6 weeks old, so if it doesn't work at first, do try again later.

we found this swaddler too large for our 9 pound baby, and he was done being swaddled by the time he got big enough. I see from other reviews that some people had the opposite problem. Weird!

This is a great product... It is amazing how well my little guy sleeps in it. This is a great idea and helps swaddle him tightly

No no no no no! How many times can I say this? No no no! This thing did not work when my son was three weeks old because he kicked right out of it. It is useless and a big waste of money. Get the miracle blanket instead. Seriously.

This is a fantastic product, great and easy to swaddle - so much better than any other swaddle.
