I used this with my first child to pump and store milk for him at daycare. I adored this and it made it easy to continue to do this from when he was 3 months till 7 months. It did not work when I went to use it for my second child, that was disappointing.

Absolutely awesome! I found it pretty intuitive to use, too!

The best pump ever!

Used it for three different children from 10 weeks till at least 8 months working full time. With it's built in cooler milk storage was easy without access to a refrigerator with a simple ice pack. Battery pack did not pack the same power as standard electric, but would recommend a car adapter for long trips.

I had this in the backpack version. Expensive, but worth every penny.

A little pricy but totally worth the money!

i used this until my daughter was 11.5 months old. wonderful product.

If you have to pump I beleive this is the best pump on the market. I only worked part-time so I barely used my pump. I was able to resell it. but people are generally nervous about buying a used breast pump.

Best purchase I ever made. Handheld pumps are too difficult and too slow. This is worth the investment. I don't regret the purchase one bit.

Great pump with easy-to-clean parts and good suction control. Of course, nothing compares to a hospital pump for efficiency, but this comes darn close.

The pump works great. The bag fits many bottles/bags of milk, and I find the cooler very useful at work.

Completely worth every penny - I never had a problem with it. saves so much time.

Great pump, though I would suggest investing in SoftFit breastshields for more comfort during pumping.

Great pump! Definitely worth the money.

This pump works well, and considering how often it gets used, it's well worth the money. It's compatible with the Playtex One-Step system for their drop-ins bottle line, and all Medela plastic is BPA-free.

Very expensive, but I agree with the other reviewers -- it is worth it for working/nursing moms. Don't even mess around with a manual pump -- this system is the only way to go.

I pumped exclusively for 10 months with my son and I used the heck out of this. Worked GREAT and was easy to carry around with me.

The Cadillac of breast pumps.

I felt like a milk cow when I used this, but that's only because it works so well.

expensive, but worth it for a working mama needing to pump! but some insurances companies will buy it for you or partially reimburse if you get a dr's prescription, so it is definitely worth checking into that!! if you're just staying at home, medela makes a much cheaper but awesome hand pump that works almost as well at a much more affordable price.

I had an older version of the Medela Pump n Style and I loved it!

I am still using this pump for my 2nd kid and it has lasted pretty well. I did have to order replacement tubes and a new faceplate from Medela (free because they changed the design from when I bought mine) and a replacement power pack because I lost mine. The power pack I tried to use (since we seem to have so many stashed around our house) did not work as well as the proprietary Medela one. I noticed a big improvement in power once I switched back to the Medela version.
To get this pump cheaper, investigate if your work or your spouse's work has an employee "Lifeworks" lactation program. I was able to get my pump for HALF of the retail price by using my employer's lactation benefit.
