Loved it! Best (and funniest) pregnancy book I read.

Laugh-out-loud book about the realities of pregnancy

Horrible. I don't know whose "girlfriend" this is, but I'm glad she's not mine. The author is very judgmental, believing that her approach to pregnancy and birth is the only "right" one. Don't bother.

The entire line of Girlfriends books by Vicki Iovine kept me laughing during and after my pregnancies and balanced my anxiety after reading the What to Expect books. These are the funny stories that your mother or doctor won't or don't tell you. I give it to all my newly pregnant girlfriends with a small gift basket of spa items. :)

I thought this book was funny and it made me laugh, but once I was actually educating myself about childbirth options I looked back at this book and was pretty disgusted at the misinformation it presented. I couldn't recommend it to others really because it was so jaded and cynical about pregnancy and childbirth.

This is a great book to read. I loved it and it made me laugh because I could relate to the situations the author was writing about. A must read for any new mom to be.

This is a great book that takes some of the seriousness out of the whole deal.

Fun read, but not to be taken as gospel!

Cute and good for a laugh, not really a lot of useful information beyond that. Good book for gifting along to someone else as long as they are well hummored. A nice break from our culture of scaring new mothers into buying more useless crap.

Listened to this on tape from the library. Funny enough in the car, but I was glad I didn't waste any money on it.

While slightly humorous, the book lacks any useful information. I found it to be a complete waste of time.

quick and easy read that provided humor one could relate to exactly when a mommy needs it!

This was a great book to read once I was scared by reading "What to Expect.." It was great for a laugh and to learn about things that your girlfriends may not have shared with you yet.

while it is *funny* it is also full of misinformation and her personal opinion is in direct conflict with some important medical policies. not worth spending the money on when other good books are out there. if i could give it a negative star i would.

The book was ok, but not impressionable that I remember much of it, just a year after reading it.

Hilarious book! Three kids later and we still read it, this time around the DH is reading it and claims it explains me perfectly. I don't agree, but great read anyway!

I thought it was a cute book and was definitely an easy read. I wasn't expecting an encyclopedia, so I had a good time with it. I've since passed it on to other pregnant friends!
